This is our new President. You can't look at this picture without feeling a rush of pride at how far our country has come. Some say that the color of his skin isn't an issue, and on most points they are correct, but would this have happened 50 years ago? 20 years? Even 10 years ago? I think not.
I was never really an Obama supporter (nor a McCain one, for that matter), but he sure is one photogenic guy.
Here's to holding out high hopes that he can make this country a better place.
P.S.: When I was out and about with the Handsome J.C. last night, I was struck with the realization that I now live only 25 or so miles from the White House. WEIRD.
