Insomnia

I can't sleep. I've been awake since 2:30. I tried watching an actual TV program, but I got too interested in it to go to sleep. I tried shutting off all the lights and laying in the dark, but my brain wouldn't shut up. I tried watching a movie I have seen a thousand times, but the noise bothered me.

Have you ever wondered, in the Harry Potter movies... when they transform an animal into a teacup, does it hurt the animal? Is the animal aware its been turned into a teacup? Would you want to drink out of it?

I wish I could sleep.

I have stopped sleeping too. I have lots of important things to think about when I am in bed staring at my ceiling fan.

For instance, why did FedEx bring me that check from UPS?

I don't think it hurts to turn into a teacup. I turned into a store last night and it didn't hurt at all.

Sleep ... what is that? When you find out how to shut your mind off... pass it on.

No, I have never wondered about the animal-teacup transformation. I hate Harry Potter! I only made it through book 1 because my son wasn't old enough to read it on his own at that point. But books 2 - ? are in his room, and come to think of it, that's thousands of pages that I can use to cure my next case of insomnia. :)
