I almost had a kitten given away to one of the people here at work. Until I made the mistake of mentioning that the mama kitty is Siamese. She then behaved as if I told her that the kittens were trained by terrorists and come complete with strap on bomb belts.
Huh. Weird.

There is a popular but mistaken notion that Siamese cats are aggressive. Not true. Saffron was half-Siamese and he was the gentlest kitty you could imagine.
That's the same with the mama kitty. She's full blood Siamese, but I've never met a nicer cat. As much as I think the kittens are adorable, I am keeping mom instead.
